Now that that's out of the way, I've always wanted to talk about how depressing the forums can be to a player. For the record, I know that it is pretty much the same in all popular MMORPGs like Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures or even World of Warcraft, but that doesn't make me or any of the other players who agree with what I have to say happy about it.

Most gamers probably already know that patches in the early goings of an MMORPG usually come in two flavors - huge and freaking huge. Considering the last patch for the PC version (the Xbox 360 version is still in development) of Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures fell in the latter category, it was inevitable that some details weren't included in the patch notes.

It sure looks like Age of Conan is shaping up to be one buffed up game - and we have the images to prove it. These images were actually taken from its beta test, and we'd have to say, it's getting there.

Building a balanced party in Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures seems like a simple thing to do for experienced MMORPG gamers. However, because of certain mechanics in the game, even the most jaded player will soon find that the task isn't as easy as expected.
