Official MMORPG forums and those who abuse it

Now that that's out of the way, I've always wanted to talk about how depressing the forums can be to a player. For the record, I know that it is pretty much the same in all popular MMORPGs like Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures or even World of Warcraft, but that doesn't make me or any of the other players who agree with what I have to say happy about it.

The gods of war: Best of GC 2007 winners announced

Roll out the red carpet! Leipzig Messe has just announced the winners for the "Best of GC" during the Leipzig Games Convention 2007. The awards span across all current generation platforms and other industry-related tidbits showcased during the event, all dispersed under ten respective categories.

Conan the Brutal Artiste

Age of Conan in the land of gray

It sure looks like Age of Conan is shaping up to be one buffed up game - and we have the images to prove it. These images were actually taken from its beta test, and we'd have to say, it's getting there.

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures - balancing the party

Building a balanced party in Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures seems like a simple thing to do for experienced MMORPG gamers. However, because of certain mechanics in the game, even the most jaded player will soon find that the task isn't as easy as expected.

Age of Conan screens, and Age of Conan screams 360

Lush, tropical, and rugged is how barbarian likes it. Here be a tonnage of screens from Funcom's Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures to sweat to. Big, hairy barbarian also very happy to see a few scenes of combat against fellow barbarians and big, scary spiders.

Funcom announces contemporary RPG The Secret World

Most MMORPGs take us to fantasy universes, future worlds, or alternate realities. Now the makers of Age of Conan, Anarchy Online, and The Longest Journey have announced a new MMO which is set on a contemporary world.
