| Funcom hosts Age of Conan beta prayer contest

The Good Book says to "ask and ye shall receive." Funcom is asking MMORPG players to do exactly that with Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (PC, Xbox 360). The reason? The developer is giving away open beta keys, so if you're interested, all you have to do is submit a beta prayer in order to become a beta player. |

| Patch notes available for AoC's 10th of July update

The next major patch hits Age of Conan's live servers today. The patch notes are lengthy, chocked full of details on all of the quest, item, UI and NPC fixes that made it in. Necromancers, Dark Templars and Heralds of Xotli took the lion's share of class tweaks, although Priests of Mitra, Rangers, Assassins and Barbarians also had some smaller changes. |

| Interview reveals name of new AoC dungeon

Ellingsen mentioned that a new dungeon instance called "House of Crom." He didn't give any information about it apart from the name, although Keen's prose suggested that he was unusually excited about it. We'd like to think that this House of Crom is, in fact, the actual house of the deity Crom, atop a monstrous mountain. |
